Learn how to make delicious and aromatic Mushroom Biryani at home in just a few easy steps. Perfect for lunch or dinner!
Basmati rice Button mushrooms Onions Tomatoes Ginger-garlic paste Yogurt Biryani spices Fresh herbs Ghee
Soak rice for 30 mins, then cook until 90% done. Drain and keep aside. This ensures perfect, fluffy biryani!
In ghee or oil, sauté mushrooms until golden and tender. Set aside for later layering.
Sauté onions until golden. Add ginger-garlic paste, tomatoes, yogurt, and biryani masala. Cook until aromatic.
In a pot, layer rice, masala, sautéed mushrooms, herbs, and saffron milk. Repeat until all used up.
Cover and cook on low heat for 15-20 mins. This allows all the flavors to blend beautifully.
Fluff up gently and serve hot with raita or salad. Enjoy the rich, earthy flavor in every bite!
