Learn how to make flavorful Palak (Spinach) Rice – quick, nutritious, and perfect for lunch or dinner!

Basmati rice Fresh spinach (palak) Onion Green chilies Ginger-garlic paste Whole spices Cumin Ghee or oil Salt
Cook basmati rice until fluffy. Let it cool slightly to avoid mushy texture when mixing.
Blanch spinach leaves briefly, then blend with green chilies and garlic to make a smooth puree.
Heat oil/ghee, sauté whole spices and onions till golden. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté.
Add palak puree, cook for a few minutes. Mix in the rice, toss gently, and let it absorb the flavors.
Serve hot with raita, papad, or pickle. A healthy, tasty meal in minutes!
