Oats Rice flour Semolina (rava) Yogurt Mustard seeds Curry leaves
Lightly roast the oats in a pan until they turn slightly golden. This enhances the flavor and texture of your idlis.
Blend the roasted oats into a fine powder. Mix it with semolina, rice flour, yogurt, and water to form a smooth batter.
Heat oil, then add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and chopped green chilies. Pour this tempering into the batter for a burst of flavor!
Grease the idli molds, pour in the batter, and place them in the steamer. Steam for 10-12 minutes until the idlis are soft and fluffy.
Check if the idlis are cooked by inserting a toothpick. If it comes out clean, your Oats Idli is ready to serve!
Serve your warm, fluffy Oats Idli with coconut chutney or sambar. A delicious, healthy breakfast or snack option!
