Basmati rice Fresh prawns (cleaned & deveined) Onions Tomatoes Green chilies Yogurt Biryani masala Ginger-garlic paste Mint Coriander Lemon
Mix prawns with yogurt, turmeric, chili powder, ginger-garlic paste, and salt. Marinate for 30 minutes.
Cook rice until it’s 80% done. Drain and keep aside. This gives biryani the perfect texture.
Sauté onions till golden, add tomatoes, chilies, spices & marinated prawns. Cook until prawns are just done.
In a pot, layer rice and prawn masala. Sprinkle mint, coriander, lemon juice & saffron milk on top.
Fluff gently and serve hot with raita or salad. Seafood lovers, this one’s for you!
